I wonder if the difference is in the house style settings.

Well I try pressing enter on it and that does nothing. I think I tweaked in
some weird way by accident with some score settings or something. Because
just now I pasted all the music into a new score of the same layout and all
is normal again. Thanks.

When I have time, I'll just have someone look at the old copy and see if
they don't see anything strange with the score.

Cheers

Have you tried looking at the system items to see if your technique appears?

If so, select it and then edit.

Other than that, it mystifies me, as well.

Hi all,
Strange problem. I have a large score: flute, clarinet, piano, violin,
viola, and cello. I've just noticed that when I try to enter technique
text, forsome reason the edit field doesn't appear. Instead, Sibelius
creates something that it simply calls "technique" and I'm back in the
score. It only happens with this score. I tried with others, and the edit
field appears. Here it doesn't. What's happening?

Thanks for any help.

Cheers

Vytautas
