Claudio, Your guess about the staff names is correct. The full name appears on the first staff only and the abreviation on all other systems. -----Original Message----- From: sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Claudio Sacco Sent: Friday, February 05, 2010 10:18 AM To: sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [sib-access] Re: one piano eight hands Dan, Thanks so much for your answers. Tremolo: In this case the notes can't be put on the same staff. That would create to many leger lines. And player two is playing something between the tremolo hands of the first player. So I think I will have to do it with rests. The words "primo, secondo, terzo, quarto" specify the players. It's a common way to call first and second player primo and secondo. Does your answer mean, that automatically the full name is written on the first system of the page and subsequent staves get the short name?
