David,

Don't worry, you're certainly not the first person to have made this
mistake. I used to have lots of keystrokes for launching applications until
I realised what a pain in the neck they could be when using apps with a
large number of keystrokes, and Sibelius has a very large number of
keystrokes.

I'm going to put together a more substantial topic on fixing the tool
windows, since this is clearly tripping a few people up.

Subject: [sib-access] Re: my navigation issue

Greetings from "Down Under' Dan

Here are my findings

Open or close keypad window Alt+Control+K
        Keypad Open
        KeyPad Closed

Open or close playback window Control+Alt+Y
        Playback Open
        Playback Closed

Open or close mixer window Control+Alt+M
        Mixer Open
        Mixer Closed

Open or close parts window Control+Alt+R
        Parts Open
        Parts Closed

Open or close video window Control+Alt+V
        Video Open
        Video Closed

Open or close properties window Alt+Control+P
        Properties Open
        Properties Closed

Open or close navigator window Control+Alt+N
        Navigator Open
        Navigator Closed

Okay ... now here is The News

I have only just realised that I used Control plus Alt plus K as a System
Wide Keystroke to launch JAWS after I start Windows.

This was just shortly after just realising that I use Control plus Alt plus
N as a System Wide keystroke to launch Notepad.

Not to state the Bleeding Obvious, I have removed these two System Wide
Keystrokes.

*Total Embarrasement I think ... Red Faced*

I run the Fix Tools Window from the Control F1 Dialog Box and got the
message:
Tools Windows Fixed. (or something close to that) I was so surprised
that I did not really catch the message.

Well....

Lets see what else can be revealed.

With many thanx for your time, patience and dedication to this undertaking!!

Take care

David
