Annabel, After selecting your staff with chords: Open the edit menu Arrow down to Filter Arrow right to open the filter submenu. Arrow down until you start hearing first note, etc. Listen to the shortcut key that is available for many of these filters. Select your measures in the normal way, either by using ctrl+shift+right, or by using ctrl+f9 as the marker and shift+f9 to make the selection. 2. Filter for whichever chord member you're wanting. Remember that this step only refines your selection, but nothing is actually copied yet. 3. Use ctrl+c to copy that modified selection, that is your filtered selection, to the clipboard. 4. Paste if necessary. The filter tool helped me once I realized that it's a way to hone a selection. It might seem obvious to most, but I had to play with that and learn it. Hope this helps.
