You probably do have a cookie. That's why I didn't try it.
Are you on MIDI-Mag? Could you post this there so I have more
coverage? Contest ends tomorrow at noon and I really would like a shot at
this.
Thanks,
K.

K,

Got it. A bit of a chore, but you've climbed from 56th place to 55th.
Interesting that I don't appear to be able to vote with two different E-Mail

addresses, either. Perhaps I've got a cookie now that prevents this. If I
can, I'll try to vote tonight from my DAW computer.

Good luck!

Dave

contest?

Dear Dave and all who are having problems voting in the Yo-Yo- Ma I have
just gone through the process entirely in keystrokes. Do the following
exactly! 1. Click on the initial link at the bottom of my original post. 2.
Wait for JAWS to start speaking. This website is very slow so be patient.
3. When JAWS finishes saying the number of links, I believe it's 84, press
the letter n once. JAWS should say, "Kevin's DNP Variations(Piano) 4. Down
arrow once. JAWS should say "graphic 2212/56__cropped__profile. 5. Down
arrow once more. JAWS shyould say "430." 6. Down arrow once more and JAWS
should say, "Vote for this submission." 7. Click Enter. 8. You will be
taken to a page that explains how to vote if you don't have an indaba music
account. You will have to provide your e-mail address. I'll explain how tot
do that in the next step. Indaba will confirm your vote by sending you an
e-mail to the address specified. Please continue reading for the next
instructions. 9. Assuming you clicked ENTER in instruction 7 above, you
will be taken to a page that explains how to vote as a non-member. I've had
two different experiences with this specific action. Wait patiently for
JWWS to speak. Depending on which of two possible voting pages you get,
pressing f for forms mode will either put you directly in the e-mail address
field with the word "null" in the field, or you will arrive in a blank
address field. If JAWS doesn't immediately explain how to vote as a
non-member, you are probably in the address field with the word "null" in
it. Simply typing your address will not remove the word null from the
field. So, Please delete all characters from the adress field before typing
your address. 10. Carefully type in your address and then, if you wish to
prevent Indaba from soliciting you in the future, tab three times. JAWS
will spout a long message about "function, match this queery, user select,
bla bla blaPress the space bar to uncheck this box. JAWS will not say
"unchecked." It will only say space. 11. Shift Tab twice to go past the
cancel button to the vote button. Hit enter. You will immediately receive
an e-mail confirming your vote. I haven't done this part because I voted as
a member and used the limited vision I have to make sure I did it right.
I've done my best to give you the most specific instructions of which I'm
capable. If any of you have any problems or questions, please don't
hesitate to write be off list at kevjazz@xxxxxxxxxx Again, I really really
appreciate your taking the time to do this. I'm moving up the ranks from 143
to 58 at last count. You could make the difference. Thanks, Kevin PS.
Would anyone mind posting this on MIDI-Mag. I used to belong but nolonger
do. K.
