Ramy, It sounds like you may have a Home version of Windows 7. Professional and Ultimate have a "Run in Windows XP mode" feature, and so programs which previously ran under Windows XP will usually install and run in those two versions of Windows 7. (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/compare/default.aspx) However, what is important is not to miss a message after installation which says something along the lines of "Re-Install with recommended settings", whereupon it will re-install using XP settings.
