From what you describe, I think what you can do is --
you enter in all the notes on one staff, then distribute the notes that
you want on the other staff through the command.
Suppose you want alternating eighth notes A (la) top line of lower staff
to the octave above that, the A on the second space of the top staff.
You could write all the notes in the lower staff, then select a note you
want in the top staff and choose "move up staff".
Equivalently, you could write all the notes on the top staff and select
the ones you want on the lower staff and choose "move down staff"
Sibelius will move the note selected to the other staff.
To do the first step of entering all the notes on one staff, where some
of
the notes are much higher or lower than normal range for that staff, it
is
useful to enter a note and then press control - up arrow to quickly move
it up one octave, or control - down arrow, to move a note quickly down
one
octave.
I do not have the software open as I write this, but my original thought
was you could also write the notes on both staffs with the rests that
would be needed to make the rhythms add up in each staff, then select the
whole phrase and maybe there was some cross staff beam command that would
take out all the rests and make it all one line, one beam with stems
going
up and down, as I wrote in the last e-mail. But I might not be
remembering
how it works, so your way might also work, but I do not know if Sibelius
would keep the beam when you move a note to the other staff. Probably Sib
Access can tell you if your end result is what you wanted.

Thank you for your explaination. Just one point I meant you to explain
more: I saw the cross staff notes sub-menue in Sibelius, and there are
2 option to choose: move up a staff and move down a staff. If you are
familiar, please let me know the difference. Anyway I will ask to a
sighted person to explain that by trying on Sibelius.
Dale, sometimes you have a passage in which notes or chords shift
quickly from one hand's register to another one. In such a case, if
you write them in 2 staves in normal way, you have to write many
pauses with little duration between the notes in one hand while the
other hand is playing and viceversa. Therefore it's better to write
all the passage on one staff because it's much more comfortable for
pianist to read it.

About your second question have you tried creating a cross staff beam
which
creates a horizontal beam inbetween the two staffs of the piano music,
with
the lower staff notes stems up to the beam and the upper staff notes
stems
going down to the same beam. Maybe if you do this first, you can then
create
successfully one long slur.
I think the cross-staff beam is perhaps under the Notes menu.

which is in one staff is for both hands?
2: This part contains 2 related questions, again regarding piano staff:
A: When there's a passage which starts in one hand and continues in
another and needs to be slurd, how is it possible to select both
staves to put the slur?
B: Such an issue as the previous for writing tremolo between 2 hands.
Here there are 2 issues, selecting staves and putting beams of tremolo
which have to be appeared between the staves if I'm not wrong.
