I would think that catapulting the Honda off the deck of the carrier = would create enough of a mess that you wouldn't need to worry much about = the landing. And if you're landing on a carrier are you really landing? -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jon Powell Sent: Friday, 07 May, 2004 02:45 PM To: gtang@xxxxxxxx; Chris.Cheng@xxxxxxxxxxxx; 'Si-List' Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: which vehicle is best? OK, But I did some research and I found the maintenance cost of a Honda = after being struck by a laser guided air to surface missile from an f14 Tomcat = is still quite large. And car insurance does not cover "acts of war". (also, landing a Honda on a super carrier is messy) -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of George Tang Sent: Friday, May 07, 2004 12:20 PM To: Chris.Cheng@xxxxxxxxxxxx; jonpowell@xxxxxxxxxxxx; 'Si-List' Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: which vehicle is best? Great choice. It has the performance and good-looks of the Ferrari = combined with Honda's reliability, maintainability (low maintenance), and user friendliness. You picked a good one! -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Chris Cheng Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 7:26 PM To: 'jonpowell@xxxxxxxxxxxx'; 'Si-List' Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: which vehicle is best? I'll vote for Acura NSX. -----Original Message----- From: Jon Powell [mailto:jonpowell@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 6:45 PM To: 'Si-List' Subject: [SI-LIST] which vehicle is best? Well it is definitely the Ferrari. It goes fast. It looks good. And people stare at you as you drive by. It also cost $100K which is really cool! But, you can't put a load of plywood in it. So I guess a pickup is best. You can load it with wood. Drive it off road. It only cost $20K. But you can't take the team to their campout. So I guess a mini-van is best. You can put lots of people in it. With a little work you can carry wood. It costs $25K. But I am environmental conscious. So a VW bug is best. It is little and cute and gets 35mpg. But I need to take out enemy aircraft on attack approach. So an F14 is best... oh, and you need the carrier and support flotilla. A couple of billion dollars but well worth the investment since if you = slip just one state to an incoming nuke you loose the next election. So.... just like SI tools. It depends on what you are TRYING TO DO. boy, I really wanted to say that. jon --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
