FYI - I've worked with Agilent, Anritsu, and Rohde-Schwarz to try to develop a 2-port VNA solution, but I don't think any of them has a product currently available. There's nothing that prohibits getting perfectly valid results from a 2-port VNA (which then properly transforms the S-params into time-domain equivalent waveforms), but it takes some work getting the algorithm built natively into their systems. On a VNA, it offers the significant advantage of only needing 2 ports instead of 4 to measure SDD21. That makes probing and calibration much easier. It wouldn't hurt to prod your local rep. if you are interested in having them incorporate it into their system. Ask your TDR vendor. SET2DIL is a low cost alternative to VNA measurements and was specifically created for TDRs. As my known ,there are only software to support the TDR,that's right? Or where should we get this kind of software, can anybody give some suggetion? Thanks a lot.
