We have a design where signals go through one or more connectors. Most connector manufacturers supply models in HSPICE format which we do not have or will be getting any time soon. Hyperlynx has a mutliboard simulation mode which allows you to enter the parasitic L,R,C of the connection. Does it make any sense to try to obtain the L,R,C values of the connectors to put into the simulation. Can these parameters be extracted from the HSPICE file if it is not encrypted?
