Apparently SI-List doesn’t like my android devices. I suggested you might try
protoexpress.com. I'm not sure they have the control you need, but they might.

Steve

If the Soldermask positional tolerances are the only critical part, you should
look for suppliers using LDI (Laser Direct Imaging) instead of Photoplot films,
and use an optical alignment instead of a mechanical alignment.

Betreff: [SI-LIST] Recommendations for PCB fabs - tight tolerance
We are designing small PCB's to use as test fixtures for fine pitch wafer level
chip-scale parts (WLCSP). Our current PCB fab seems to be having issues with
tolerance control of the pads and solder mask. Looking for recommendations of
PCB fabs that have very tight process control.
Thanks,
Chris

Subject: [SI-LIST] DuPont™ Pyralux® AP VS DuPont™ Interra™ HK 04J
I've seen presentations on HK04J for power / ground pairs an even used it
myself. Since some PCB suppliers we would want to use for quick turn stock
Pyralux AP but not the HK04J, I was asked about a substitution. When I
compared data sheets, I didn't see a significant difference.
Can anyone comment?
Thanks,
Aubrey Sparkman

I don't have any experience with HK04J, but I've found that with Pyralux AP the
bond or coverlay material has a lot more influence on the effective loss
tangent than the Pyralux, so consider the whole stackup.

There are several Pyralux materials. My question is specific to AP which has a
very low loss tangent. There are also FR and LF versions which, due to
adhesive, have high loss tangent.
