Description

As a Signal Integrity Engineer, MTS, you will work as part of a team on 
challenging 20+Gbps transceiver characterization and modeling issues. You will 
interact with internal engineering departments to define characterization 
plans, identify root causes through measurement and simulations, and influence 
product decisions for best cost-performance tradeoff. You will also work on 
other leading edge technology for example 3D packaging, 50GHz PCB design, high 
speed optical interface characterization etc.


Minimum qualifications will include the following:
* MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3+ years 
relevant experience in semiconductor industry
* Signal integrity & power integrity analysis, PCB design and layout principles
* High-speed lab measurements using oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs, BERTs and 
spectrum analyzers
* Transmission line theory, jitter analysis, pre-emphasis, equalization, SSN 
analysis, power distribution network design and design tradeoffs
* Proficiency with HSPICE, HFSS, Matlab and EDA tools
* Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
