You have to look at them all and make the choice that best fits your application. You just heard from Wes (works for Mentor), and Tom (works for Innoveda). I personally like Andy's response better (not to be confused with the company Andy represents), because it was shorter. I don't work for any of them; just an SI jock like yourself. Every vendor makes a competitive product, otherwise they wouldn't be in existence. Each vendor plays to a particular product niche where they can differentiate themselves from the competition. Get an eval license and try them out for yourself. List of companies to start your search (certainly not an exhaustive list or in any preferential order): Mentor Innoveda Cadence Sigrity Quantic EMC Applied Simulation Technologies Ansoft EMS-plus If you are an EDA rep, and I didn't list your company, and you want to put in your two-bits, just post your link please. Thanks, Ken PS - nice job Tom -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Tom Barber Sent: Thursday, July 12, 2001 8:06 AM To: 'si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: post layout SI analysis Andy - Two other product recommendations.
