Fabrizio,
That wasn't the question. I didn't ask for opinions, just data. Don't want
to know your "favorite". Your favorite works for you in your work paradigm,
and may not work for someone else. Let's keep this unbiased.
Ken

Ken, at my company we've evaluated several and own licenses of several of
the SI tools mentioned below and own licenses for a few of them. To answer
your question, our favorite for post route SI analysis is the Cadence
SpecctraQuest SI Expert toolsuite.

Andy,
Every vendor of note, and many emerging vendors, have the tools to do the
job. You have to look at them all and make the choice that best fits your
application. You just heard from Wes (works for Mentor), and Tom (works for
Innoveda). I personally like Andy's response better (not to be confused
with the company Andy represents), because it was shorter. I don't work for
any of them; just an SI jock like yourself. Every vendor makes a
competitive product, otherwise they wouldn't be in existence. Each vendor
plays to a particular product niche where they can differentiate themselves
from the competition. Get an eval license and try them out for yourself.
List of companies to start your search (certainly not an exaustive list or
in any preferential order):
Mentor
Innoveda
Cadence
Sigrity
Quantic EMC
Applied Simulation Technologies
Ansoft
EMS-plus
If you are an EDA rep, and I didn't list your company, and you want to put
in your two-bits, just post your link please.
Thanks,
Ken
PS - nice job Tom

I am looking for recommendations to do post layout data extraction
and simulation for crosstalk etc. Anybody out there have their
favorite method? I am interested both in tools and in companies
that do this as a service.

Thanks
       Andy Barr
