Palusa,

The first question is whether or not your targeted simulator supports
the inclusion of S-parameter descriptions for transient analysis. If so,
then it probably uses some specific syntax to reference the S-parameter
file from a SPICE subcircuit and you can reference the SPICE subcircuit
from an IBIS [External Circuit] block.=20

This is NOT standard IBIS, since the specification states that the SPICE
subcircuit complies with Berkeley SPICE 3f5 that, I think, doesn't
support S-parameters. If your simulator supports S-parameters referenced
from IBIS, then you need to talk to your simulator vendor for specifics
on syntax.

If you are using any of the Mentor Graphics SI tools, I can help you
with syntax or get the right person to help.

Good luck,
Weston

Subject: [SI-LIST] package S-parameters in IBIS

Hi all,
=20
IBIS 3.2 and 4.1 has the option of modeling package RLCG's . Does IBIS
3.2 or 4.1 has the option of modeling packge S-parameters? IBIS 4.1 has
the option of modeling S_parameters. Is it only for I/O's or even for
packages? I checked IBIS 4.1 spec. In the package modeling option we can
specify RLCG matrices? But how do we model S-parameters? =20
Can someone help me with this..Thanks in advance..
