Suresh: 1) I believe all SI tools run the IBIS Golden Parser (I have yet to find an exception). The GP runs many checks of the IBIS model that is being input. 2) I don't think that IBIS provides a way to model a resistor array, but certain tools (SpecctraQuest is the one I'm most familiar with) provides a way to do it. Sorry, I'm not able to provide an example. 3) Many vendors do not know how to make correct IBIS models or even understand the importance of doing so. Fortunately, I believe this is slowly getting better. The IBIS Quality Committee is working to provide a spec and framework to standardized IBIS model quality, and you can view their work in progress at http://www.sisoft.com/ibis-quality. The best way to deal with incorrect IBIS models is to contact the vendor of the model and request a fix.
