Doug can also re-enlist with the signal integrity list using another e-mail address--a dummy one set up just for posting to the list. He can mention his real e-mail address within the body of the message. And he can ignore any e-mail received at the dummy address. This way his regular e-mail box should remain unaffected by si-list postings. -tom -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Instone Sent: Tuesday, February 12, 2008 1:37 AM To: kimgh@xxxxxxxxxxx Cc: doug@xxxxxxxxxx; SI-List Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: list etiquett Dougs problem seems to be that he has to download the mail and or the headers before he can filter them and on a slow connection that can take forever, and if he can't delete them on the server then they get down loaded which takes even longer. Thus he can't read his important mail until all 'our' spam has been downloaded.
