The situation is simple, suppose you got around 100 ibis buffers to
compare; which figures or merit would you pursue
1* I am thinking voltage levels
2* rise time against the signal's period <- maybe
But even then, which should be the criteria to follow?
for the first, how about a 10% drop
yet for the latter i have no clue, 30% of the period
Using the following setup for the simulation in HSpice:
signal_source(variable
speed)->ibis_buffer_under_test->transmission_line(length
variation)->ibis_input_buffer_as_termination
At the end i will do a binning for speed, and the length trace at which the
former can work.
