Peter, Get the latest SPECCTRAQuest because there have been continual improvements to the spc2spc translator. It does have a W-element output option, and it does have frequency dependent field solution. Basically you run a SPECCTRAQuest simulation, then you translate the produced circuit files to repeat the simulation in HSPICE.
