Hi It depends. You need to clarify the total noise budget and then assign the specific margin for each kind of impairment, depending on your system. Some impairment has been also included in component spec. We need to avoid to double count these impairment. Please consider your tool capability ,whether it can emulate all the impairment. -- B.R.
