Hi subbu, For the frequencies of interest in your case, the wavelength is > 3m. From a radiation point of view your pcbs are like point sources. You are probably interested in the interaction with the large metallic structures and the multitude of cables and possible antennas in/on the car. There is a simulation tool designed specifically for this kind of problems: EMC Studio See: http://emintegrity.com/emcsoft.html However, if you insist on the pcb aspects try from the same place: PCBMod with RadiaSim and if you add CableMod you could simulate an entire vehicle. (FR4 or SEM) Does EMC tools capable enough for single layer board designs? If yes, which is the good tool suggested. thanks and regards subbu Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List FAQ wiki page is located at: http://si-list.org/wiki/wiki.pl?Si-List_FAQ List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.org List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu --------------------------------- Celebrate Yahoo!'s 10th Birthday!
