Juan,

The "clearance hole" is a void in the ground or power plane which is created
so that via does not make contact with the ground/power plane.
It is also known as "antipad".

Subject: [SI-LIST] a "via" doubt

Hi everybody,
I have a doubt about the capacitance created by a via.
In Black Magic book says that the capacitance is due to the pad size
approaches the clearance hole diameter.
My doubt is : what is "the clearance hole diameter"?
Thanks beforehand.
