[SI-LIST] Re: Waveform Measurements

About 10 years ago, I had to trace waveforms from a bitmap type image into
X-Y coordinates. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any info on the program
that I did use, but if you search google
(http://www.google.com/search?q=digitize+graph+image), there seem to be a
few programs out there that will do the same thing.

Olivia,

You can use a package such as Canvas by Deneba Software to manipulate
captured images for simple measurements. But if what you are really
looking for is fancy post processing, for integrals, FFT's and such, it is
better to use software that gets the raw data from the instrument, rather
than an image bit file.

Steve.
