There use to be a time when I present papers in conferences and when it =
is time for the audiences to ask questions the moderator will ask the =
audience to declare his/her name and company as a common courtesy.=20
Is that too much to ask for ?
How about if you use yahoo or gmail, end the message with a sigline with =
your real name and company.=20
Is that too much to ask for ?

I subscribe to few other groups beside SI List and I
don't wanna get inundated with non company related
emails in my corporate inbox. So I use yahoo email.=20

If someone feels unsafe here because of some yahoo
or hotmail ids how do you feel publishing a paper in a
conference where rest of the world can read it? =20
