Sounds like USB over a C connector. Answering your questions requires either
(1) whole bunches of education or (2) carefully copying the reference design
and following the chip vendor's recommendations. Start with the latter, work
toward the former. Read the usual books from the usual suspects. Suggestions
are in the archives.

need to do in Layout and SI Analysis as well as best dielectric material?
