It depends on the frequency range you are interested in.....

if you can use a quasi static approach you may consider to use a 3D 
quasi-static solver (Q3D from Ansoft)
for the connector and a 2D quasistatic solver for the cable ( supposing 
it has a constant cross-section) ( SI2D from Ansoft)

if you need an high frequency approach
use a 3D solver such as CST Microwave Studio
or HFSS or any other 3D solver as per your convenince
