Hi Rahul,

this is some rule of thumb.
Here the corresponding formulas:

Z=SQR(L'/C')
v = 1/SQR(L'*C')
C'=1/(Z*v)
L=Z/v

The rule of thumb I know for a 50OHm transmissionline:
C'=135pF/m
L'=340nH/m


Z = Impedance
v = velocity
L' = characteristic inductance
C' = characteristic capacitance
