Hi,

I am doing a design which requires 55 Ohms impedance. This number includes
the effect of plated holes and connectors. How should I go about
determining the line impedance to route with, such that the total affect
will be 55Ohms with holes and connectors?

The design is backplane 10-15 slots 0.8 pitch with holes about 0.050 in
diamter, which will be filled with 0.2 inch pins

Is there a rule of thumb for the impedance drop, or an estimation scheme
