Hi Jory,
You might take a look at Agilent's ADS suite. Momentum, EMDS, and a very cool
circuit simulator that reads unencrypted HSPICE decks as well as IBIS and
S-parameter files.

When doing your comparison, I strongly encourage you to consider how you will
analyze your results. The ADS suite includes a very powerful analysis and
presentation graphics tool.

FWIW. I am sure their are other tool suites that meet your criteria, but this
is the *SUITE* I have had the most experience with and they have a great
support team.

Feel free to contact me offline for more info.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Tool Evaluation

Hello All,
I am working with a company that would like to run an evaluation of software
tools. While I have experience with many different point tools the company
wants to have a single software company that has a relatively accurate tool in
all the areas below:

(1) 2.5D simulation engine for system boards and Asic/FPGA packages.
(2) 3D simulation engine for Via/Connector/Package Launch and Design.
(3) A time/frequency domain Spice like simulation engine that combines all
sorts of s-parameter models/behavioral and Spice to generate channel
EYE/skew/TDR.

The question being who has a single vendor solution for the above and what are
your experiences with the software against other single vendor solutions.
Lastly and very important would be a rough $$$ per year expectation.

Regards,
-Jory
