I read the article.  I have a couple of exceptions to it.  1) It recommends 
joining returns off-board.  This  is good for low-frequency noise, but can 
greatly exacerbate high frequency noise problems, especially in our 
invariably mixed signal systems and can have disastrous consequences in a 
hot-plug environment.  The eleventh commandment should be "Plan, know and 
obey thy grounding scheme."  2) The article goes back to the 90 degree 
angle, but makes no reference to frequency ranges.
