Signal Integrity Engineering Manager The Signal Integrity Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the Signal Integrity Group that is responsible for defining "safe design space" guidelines for high frequency, fast transitioning signaling. Manage the use state of the art simulation tools in both the time and frequency domains to assess timing, noise margin, cross talk, signal loss and signal integrity of all clock and critical data signaling in high performance switching systems. Work closely with board and system design managers to assess tradeoffs and provide design guidance and review. Enable the platform design team to achieve first pass design success. Assess component and packaging technologies to determine suitability and fitness for use in high performance switch design. The SI Engineering Manager will also be responsible for managing the relationship with third party board design resources and for our board and component libraries. Requirements: 7 to 10 years experience in the analysis and design of high performance systems; 5 years minimum experience in the management of a signal integrity engineering group; ability to work with a team in a collaborative and effective manner; established track record of success in the area of signal integrity analysis on complex and high performance systems; demonstrated success in contributing to the signal integrity activities of PCB and ASIC development; proficiency in the use of analytical tools for signal integrity engineering in the time and frequency domains; proficiency in understanding technology and packaging materials tradeoffs for high frequency, fast transition signaling.
