Hello All,
We have a client who is looking for a few people to do some SI work on a
temporary contract basis for about 6 months (+). The candidates must be US
citizens and the work must be done onsite at one of our clients locations
either in North Carolina, Colorado, or Wisconsin. If anyone is interested in
some contract work and would like more information regarding this opportunity
please contact me ASAP.
1) Strong foundation in electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, and
digital signal transmission including bandwidth and rise time, impedance,
reflections, loss, intersymbol interference (ISI), crosstalk, simultaneous
switching noise (SSN), jitter (DJ and RJ), bit error rate (BER), and timing
analysis including delays and skew.
2) Design and signal integrity analysis and simulation of high speed
memory busses such as DDR3 and DDR4 (Hyperlynx analysis of these types of
interfaces would be a bonus)
3) Design and signal integrity analysis and simulation of multi-gigabit
serial links such as PCI-Express, Serial Rapid IO, LVDS, or Interlaken.
4) Experience designing and performing signal integrity analysis and
simulation with high speed parts such as Altera Stratix 10, Xilinx Virtex 7 or
Virtex Ultrascale, Xilinx Kintex 7 or Kintex Ultrascale, Intel Core, Xeon or
Atom processors, ARM Cortex A8/A9/A12/A15/A17 processors, or Qualcomm Snapdragon
5) Experience and working knowledge of 3D field solvers such as Ansys HFSS
6) Experience in PCB stackup design and materials selection including
different high speed materials, via selection, micro vias, and via back drilling
7) Knowledgeable in use of lab measurement equipment such as real time
oscilloscopes, sampling oscilloscopes, TDR, and Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
8) Experience modeling, analyzing, and measuring power delivery networks
(PDN)
9) Experience in S-parameter extraction and simulation
Sincerely,
