Ray & Leonard, Here's what's done on another text-only email list I'm subbed to. The graphics, etc, are URL referenced. For example (not a real address): http://www.devnul.net/si-list_questions/bogus_example.pdf Anyone that wants to look can cut and paste that if it doesn't show up in their email client as a link automagically. It also puts the load on the poster's choice of server.=20 There are 'free' servers around. Yahoo allows uploads of pictures, as do others. Sometimes there are traffic restrictions, but I don't think they'd generally be onerous. In short, it's a bit more hassle to the poster, but it works. -- Mark Randol ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List FAQ wiki page is located at: http://si-list.org/wiki/wiki.pl?Si-List_FAQ List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.org List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
