Kumar

According to my experience, there are some cases that mask test is OK and
Return loss is not OK.
We measure Return loss by means of VNA.

Hope this would be helpful

Best Regards

主题: [SI-LIST] Return loss test in E1 signal

Hi All,

Good Morning!!!

I am working on Production test system. In this we are running Pulse mask
test on E1 signal coming out from the Unit under test using PUMA E1
analyzer.

By running pulse mask test we can find out components disassembly and
impedance mismatch in the E1 signal transmission line.

Please give your comments on above test setup.

My questions: 1. After running pulse mask test, is it require to run
Return loss test to verify impedance mismatch?

                                2. Pulse mask test will take care of
impedance mismatch in the transmission. Is it correct?

                                3. Is there any simple method to do return
loss measurement? Or what is the test equipment and test setup required for
return loss?

                                4. Please give your thought on Return loss
measurement.

Thanks in advance of your replies.

Regards,

Arun Kumar
