Connector and via ??? for 50 to 70 GHz you need to use some very fancy stuff
especially if you are using a via.
I would be surprised if you even get close to -17 dB return loss at 70 GHz
with a via and connector when you measure real HW.
You can check the BITS 2016 paper "PCB Test Fixture and Socket Challenges for
mmWave Applications" and see some examples of connectorized structures and the
kind of measured results you get.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Return loss
Dear Experts,
I'm working on the optimization of a PCB for 50 to 70 frequency band... For
this frequency band , I'm expecting RL<-17dB.
My topology is DUT via - Coplanar line - via - microstrip - connector.
I did the simulation and get the 50 ohm +_5% for the whole path. But the RL is
very poor in 50-70 GHz band.
Please guide , how to improve the RL in that frequency band ???
Thanks
Suresh
