I agree that the resistance of the support wire and the circumference
are very important. I believe in college we used to also use spherical
approximations for total capacitance which is important at high frequency.
For inductance, or course, you must calculate complete loop area and
completely understand the various different connection technologies at the
main terminal.

In general, I found resistance to be low enough to ignore for most
real life situations.
