From my experience, best performance at the top. Lowest cost (for the = software) at the bottom. Of course, the hidden cost of cheaper software = is the extra time that one spends trying to make it work the way one = needs it to. 1) Frame 2) PageMaker 3) MSWord 4) Printer/typewriter, light table, wax, knife, T-square, . . . . {ah, = nostalgia ;-) } -----Original Message----- From: Jack Stone [mailto:mediwheel_js@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, 11 June, 2003 01:10 AM To: p2rich@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; rfeldman@xxxxxxxxxxx; Michael_Poimboeuf@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: Report Creators Rich, I've had some success by using the page breaks, and planning my document out before hand for the likes of table generation and scope capture = pasting. With this said it has worked out rather well, but very time consuming. But with Frame I had all my templates ready made and the documents = imported data without spewing out temp files etc.... But in some groups Word is = the required doc tool. jack ~ --- Rich Peyton <p2rich@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > MS has not improved, that is why I get frustrated trying to create =3D > documents > with MS.
