Hi John-- Roos Instruments has a generic ATE platform for production testing that I believe provides cable testing, including 4-port S-parameters up to 20 GHz. It's been a while since we've had contact with Mark, but check out his company's website - roos.com if you have not already started there. I'd be interested in seeing your responses from here and other sources. --Don ****************************************** Don DeGroot, PhD CCNi - PCB measurements 2400 Trade Centre Ave PO Box 1985 Longmont, CO 80502-1985 USA don.degroot@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx +1 303-872-7700 www.PCBmeasurements.com ****************************************** On Feb 23, 2010, at 3:28 PM, John_Sawdy@xxxxxxxxxx wrote: > Would anyone share the names of companies that make testers to use in > production to automatically test cable assemblies, such as QSFP and > SFP+, > and provide reports that list the s-parameters of the cable under > test as > well as other SI type data (impedance, skew, etc.) > I appreciate your input, > John > > John Sawdy > Sr. Signal Integrity Engineer > The Siemon Company > www.siemon.com > > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > To unsubscribe from si-list: > si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field > > or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: > //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list > > For help: > si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field > > > List technical documents are available at: > http://www.si-list.net > > List archives are viewable at: > //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list > > Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: > http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.net List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
