Hi
My name is Priyanka & I work for the Staffing team at Intel India. Currently we
have positions open at Intel for Signal integrity Engineers & Managers and
would like to understand your interest in the same. Under-mentioned is the Job
Description of the positions open in Signal Integrity:

The signal integrity position is for a newly created Netbook and Tablet Group
(NTG). The ideal candidate will be a key technical contributor in the
development and implementation and verification of the electrical signaling
interfaces found within the next generation of Netbook and Tablet platforms.
Signal Integrity engineers will work with other engineers in Bangalore as well
as other geographic locations, such as US and Penang. For best efficiency,
signal integrity engineers will also work closely with the Client Platform
Engineering organization to share best practices and tools. This position will
help ensure that NTG designs meet platform performance and cost targets as well
as satisfying customer expectations. This is for Satish Pratapneni's team.

Signal Integrity Engineer:
Responsibilities will be:
-Performing technology development, design, analysis and validation of
off-silicon platform interconnects, with a focus on memory interfaces such as
DDR or on high-speed differential I/O interfaces such as USB or PCI Express.
- Contributing to methodology development and analysis for these and other
busses.
- Defining and developing electrical modeling capabilities and analysis
techniques.
- Defining and developing empirical lab measurement methods and analysis
techniques for busses.
- Defining and evaluating validation of the design for product launch (Go or
No-Go decision).
- Leveraging empirical data to gain insight into bus behavior, and leveraging
that understanding to impact future technology and product development.
- Working as part of a diverse and dynamic team to define I/O buffer
requirements, packaging implementations, printed circuit board (PCB) designs,
and specification requirements that will ensure an electrically robust design.
  Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of a BSEE or equivalent degree
w/5+ years of relevant industry experience. Preferred would be a MSEE or
equivalent degree w/4+ years of industry experience, or PhD w/2+ years of
industry experience.

Signal Integrity Manager
We are seeking a self motivated high speed signaling engineering manager to
lead our team of world class researchers to push back the barriers of high
speed computing by defining signal requirements for multi- Gb/s interconnects,
silicon I/O and System on Chip technologies. This position is within the newly
created Netbook and Tablet Group (NTG) Signal Integrity Development team and
requires expertise in the areas of technical management, analog circuit design,
transmission lines and electromagnetic field theory. Responsibilities will
include leading a team of highly talented engineers developing and delivering
complex solutions for all client systems with associated tools, methodologies
and industry spec development and adoption.
The candidate must have a deep understanding of high speed signaling concepts,
issues and latest trends in designing high speed buses including IO design
trade off, Statistical modeling etc. He / She should also have technical
expertise on HVM related considerations and be able to comprehend industry
standards and drive SI solutions to meet them. The candidate must be able to
work with various industry forums like PCI SIG, JEDEC etc. to develop new
standards as may be required for Intel based platforms and for enabling the
industry.
  Qualifications
The position requires 3-5 years of technical management, a Master's degree in
electrical engineering with specialization in electromagnetic, signal
processing, EMI/EMC and 10+ years of work experience directly related to signal
integrity analysis, on chip interconnects, package design etc. Motherboard
development may be an added qualification. Must have a working knowledge of
Simulation tools, extraction tools for 2D/3D modeling and processing tools like
MATLAB*, JMP*, etc.
