Power Characterization Engineer
Skills & Qualification
- Define, drive and implement power design verification
- Expertise in prototype power system troubleshooting & initial system
power bring-up with programming skills
- Candidate need to be proficient in AC/DC & DC/DC regulators, set point
definition, load line characterization for high power processors
- Experience with N+1 redundant power design, hot plug, hot swap, power
sequencing is expected
- Expertise with signal integrity analysis for power designs with
familiarity in PCB design & layout optimization (maximize efficiency and
meet safety & EMI compliance guidelines)
- Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) & ability to work with a
cross disciplined team
- Interested applicants for the above positions should have a
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering with 4+ years
experience
Signal Integrity Engineer
Skills & Qualification
- Candidate will work on design and analysis of high speed interfaces &
power distribution networks of next-generation high performance servers.
- Must be proficient with SI simulation tools (hspice, nexxim, spectre),
3D field solvers (hfss, cst microwave) & power integrity tools (speed2000,
powersi).
- Hands on person who will drive both simulations & lab measurements to
validate the modeling & simulation results
- Experience in DDR-3,PCI-E Gen2, SAS/SATA busses is an added plus
- Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) & ability to work with a
cross disciplined team.
- Interested applicants for the above positions should have a
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering with 4+ years
experience
System Validation Engineer
Skills & Qualification
- Validation engineer responsible for processor, memory & system level
characterization of IBM Servers
- Candidates should have strong fundamentals in processor, memory, system
architecture concepts
- Perform Frequency, Power characterization of processors and systems
- System level debug, silicon bring up, hands on experience in a lab is
required
- Programming skills in C/C++, Perl desired
- Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) & ability to work with a
global team
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization with high attention to detail
is essential
- Interested applicants for the above positions should have a
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering with 3+ years
experience
Validation Tools Development Engineer
Skills & Qualification
- Candidates are required to have excellent applied C++ skills (in
Linux/Unix environment)
- Candidates need to have strong scripting experience with perl/ksh/python
- Candidates familiarity/experience in logic simulation (event & cycle
based) & logic design
- Having worked on hardware/software bring up in the lab or experience in
System C is desirable
- Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)
- Willingness and ability to work with cross functional global teams with
aggressive schedules.
- Interested applicants for the above positions should have a
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering or
Computer Science with 2+ years experience
