Haritha, This generally is a question that you would pose to your SPICE modelling group, or the foundary that is manufacturing your silicon. The on resistance and input capacitance (gate capacitance) are process specific and depend on multiple variables including gate dimension, oxide thickness/type, and doping profiles. When I worked on bringing up a 0.13um technology using TSMC as a foundary, they provided these types of variables in their SPICE model documentation. thanks, Chris Jakubiec Sun Microsystems > Delivered-To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > X-eGroups-Return: chandaharitha@xxxxxxxxx > Date: Mon, 11 Aug 2003 21:48:20 -0000 > From: "chandaharitha" <chandaharitha@xxxxxxxxx> > To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [SI-LIST] On resistance of the driver and the input capacitance of receiver > User-Agent: eGroups-EW/0.82 > X-Originating-IP: 216.216.8.226 > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit > X-archive-position: 7842 > X-ecartis-version: Ecartis v1.0.0 > X-original-sender: chandaharitha@xxxxxxxxx > X-list: si-list > > Hi > > If I have a minimum size inverter as both driver and receiver, then > how should I proceed calculating the on resistance of the driver and > the input capacitance of the receiver for 0.13um technology. > > Can you provide the detail documentation on this? > > Thanks > Haritha > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > To unsubscribe from si-list: > si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field > > or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: > //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list > > For help: > si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field > > List archives are viewable at: > //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list > or at our remote archives: > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages > Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: > http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu > > ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
