Mikhail, Harassing goes on and on. Vadim being ?recent immigrant?? So what? I am an immigrant. And, I am concerned about my job security and the engineers? job situation in the US due to outsourcing. A fresh immigrant is a part of the US also. The US engineers are victim of crippled politicians. Obviously, US politicians do not seem to represent the US citizens. It looks to me, they only represent few handful riches. Do not forget, some of the few may be recent immigrants also. If you are rich, you will get full support. If you are normal taxpayer, you just work your butt off until you get axed and join the competition for already scarce and dry job market. I am not saying the politicians are at fault. It is just a dilemma. Without the rich businessmen?s support, politicians won?t be able to survive. In order to survive, defy their duty to protect the US. Capitalism, is it? It increasingly looks as if the only way to stop this slide into political flame is to set up SI-LIST-POLITICS mailing list. To Vadim: From your name I have very little doubt that you are a recent immigrant yourself. I find it amusing how quickly people adjust their views to the situation. > I find it particularly interesting how few subscribes of this list have > voiced their opinion on this post The reason is simple: the majority respects the rules of the forum and the request by the moderator. I would also like to remind to some of the active participants in this thread that there is much more to the world than just the US and India. I will shut up now, ======================= Mikhail Matusov Senior Hardware Design Engineer Square Peg Communications Tel.: +1 (613) 271-0044 ext.231 Fax: +1 (613) 271-3007 http://www.squarepeg.ca ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.net List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu --------------------------------- Don't be flakey.
