Mark,

You might make a note in the Noise Spectrum Measurement section to use a DC
Block to save the Spectrum Analyzer front end attenuators and other devices.
Someone might measure higher voltages and damage their analyzer.

Mark,
I have not completely read the app note yet but whatever I have read
answers most of my questions on the subject. Good work. Question I
have raised to the si-list if SSO applies to the differential signals as
well because I have noticed that in the Virtex-II data sheet, under the
"maximum number of simultaneously switching outputs per power/ground
pair", they have listed all the single-ended I/O standard. I am using
LVDS on Virtex-II but it is not listed in the table. Any reason for
this?

Regards
Ibrahim

Hi Everyone,

I've recently posted a new appnote on our site about decoupling for=20
large FPGAs. This group is pretty varied and has a lot of collective=20
knowledge, so I'd be grateful for any feedback you might have on it.=20
 You can download it from:

(it's not linked in to SI Central yet)

Thanks,
mark
