Jaison,

I very often place some ultra-small coax connectors directly on the
board with a small low impedance smt resistors to make passive probes.
I only use them for tests and qualifications and just remove them form
the production BOM.

The W.FL connectors are really small (2x2mm) and don't take too much
room on the boards:
