[SI-LIST] MAX. IDE CABLE Length?

Dear SI group,
I am building a debug station that requires a long IDE, Integrated
Device Electronics, cable ~1meter.
My questions are the followings:
1. What is the max. length of cable I can use without affecting signal
integrity?
2. Any suggestions what type of cable(s) to use?
