In my E-mail to the list on 4/19, item 5, I implied Linpar+Multlin was required to output S-parameters. As was noted by Chris Cheng, Linpar alone is required to output S-parameters for multiple, coupled, lossy T-lines. Sorry if I misled anyone. The main benefit of Multlin is to take LCRG parameter matrices (from ANY program that will produce them) and convert them into SPICE (actually PSPICE) format using Laplacian-bbased techniques. The result is a well behaved, bilateral, coupled network of interconnects that exhibits frequency dependent dielectric and skin effect losses. Michael L.
