So far as I can tell, Matlab does not have these functions explicitly,
but since it does
have Bessel functions, it isn't too hard to work out the corresponding
Kelvin functions.
For Bessel functions of the first kind, the corresponding Kelvin
functions are defined as
KelvinR(v,x) + I*KelvinI(v,x) = BesselJ(v, x*exp[3*I*Pi/4] )
and
KelvinR(v,x) -I * KelvinI(v,x) = BesselJ(v,x*exp[-3*I*Pi/4] )
Hence
KelvinR(v,x) = (1/2) * {BesselJ(v, x*exp[3*I*Pi/4] ) +
BesselJ(v,x*exp[-3*I*Pi/4] ) }
KelvinI(v,x) = -1/(2*I) * {BesselJ(v, x*exp[3*I*Pi/4] ) -
BesselJ(v,x*exp[-3*I*Pi/4] ) }
Equivalent expressions exist for the Kelvin functions corresponding to
Second-kind
Bessel functions
