You will provide analysis of the protocols and the ramifications on electrical requirements of the part. You will need to devise appropriate test methodologies. In addition to protocol testing, applicable SSO and decoupling testing will have to be executed for the HSIO. You will create documentation and follow it through to Altera Technical Publications Group. From time to time datasheets, etc., will have to be created for the new Altera silicon. You will train various groups on the technical work you have accomplished. You will also support customers implementing High Speed IO features in their systems through Quartus. Customer support through Lab Testing and HSPICE modeling will also be required. Qualifications include a BSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years experience, or MSEE/PhD with a minimum of 5 years experience in high speed design and SI related areas.
