JEDEX Workshops on IBIS Modeling Monday, March 24th http://www.jedex.org Note: There is a fee charged for JEDEX workshops. An Introduction to IBIS Models and Model Validation 9 AM - Noon This seminar is intended for both those new to IBIS models and for those who wish to learn more about IBIS modeling and validation techniques. Topics will include the structure of an IBIS model, the content of the=20 [Component] and [Model] sections, extraction of model data from SPICE output files, a comparison of EBD and PKG models for packages and modules, and a methodology for validating IBIS models. Examples of IBIS files containing typical problems will be used to illustrate how model validation can be used to detect common problems and identify solutions. IBIS Models for High-Speed Interfaces 1 PM - 4:30 PM This seminar is intended for those wishing to become more familiar with IBIS modeling for high speed interfaces. Topics will include the IBIS 4.0 and draft IBIS Connector specifications, the IBIS Quality initiative, V-t table generation, correlation of IBIS models to SPICE, and modeling of coupled interconnects on packages and modules. Examples of IBIS files will be used to illustrate development and validation of IBIS models for high-speed interfaces. ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
