I have two books that take the heavy theoretical info and show you how to
design hi speed PCBs. They are both available on my web site
www.speedingedge.com

I think you are looking for "Signal-Power-Integrity-Simplified" 2nd
edition, by Eric Bogatin.
It is heavy on concepts and has much less stress on equations and proofs
of derivations. I have an earlier version, "Signal Integrity Simplified",
and I found it excellent.
